May God Bless My Little Ill Turtle

First of all, I want to explain why I raise turtle.I was adviced that if you can't bare the lose of pets like dogs who spend their whole lives with you, then choose to be part of turtles' life!!!

Now, my turtle-raising story comes:
I'm busy doing something for my little ill turtle Pumbaa(one of two that I bought last December,Timon and Pumbaa) these days. There is something wrong with his eyes that he can't open them for nearly a week which really worries me, because, according my web research, this eye disease may retard his movements, reduce his appetite, and finally, cost his life!!! I drop eye-drops for him three times a day and bath him for a while, then, let him settled in dry condition alone!!! While, when there is a will there is a way! It really works a little bit. This morning his eye were opened for a while! Encouraging news^^ Though he still refuses to eat something! I believe he will get better and better.

While, the another little one is a she(Timon)^^ Oh,she is very active these day since the spring comes. Bites a lot every day, swimming and crawling swiftly like something else but the turtle!!! I enjoy watch her consuming her energy!!! Haa~~

There is an interesting story(I shall call it) about she. That was a very sunny day. After enjoying snail meat which is her favourite food, I thought I should give her more room to excise a little. So, I put her onto the ground of my balcony which is very big in my neighborhood and which is surrounded by flowers in basins. She was "standing" there with four limbs withdrew in her shell, scouting surrounding environment. Emm~~ What a prudential mind!!! Haa~~ Well, noticing no danger at all, she started to action!!! Now miracle happened!!! After a few steps made, she stopped and turned her head towards me(I was standing behind her and kept my eyes on her every movement!!!). Then she took bigger steps towards ahead as if she would never come back!!! Oh,yes!!! That head-return moment did mean "Are you sure I'm free??? Do you mean I can go for anywhere I want to???"
Woo~~What a touching moment!!! I've heard a lot stories about turtles who can remember their raisers and come back some day after long time or distance apart. I believe she was thanking me and trying to remember me at that moment by saying "Thank you.I remember your kindness and I will be back some day"!!! Oh, You will not think I was imagining all this if you were there and witnessed all this!!! Love from animals are always so moving because they give it by their hearts completely!!! That's the purest love on earth that can hardly be found among "high-intellectual creatures"!!!

Oh,am I going too far from my pray for his health??? OK. I shall do it now:May God bless this little thing for a quick recovery and good health afterwards^^ Fingers crossed^^

What a picky mouth!!!(Oh,actually, Timon is the same!!!)I wrote God something for him just this time yesterday, and now, I'm writing Thankyou-note to God:Thank you very very very much!!!
